Conservatory Frames
These photographs give you an idea of how the conservatory frames are erected. As you can see, they are fitted on top of a fully reinforced cill, which is cut to exactly fit the brickwork below. It is most important for the cill to be reinforced as it has to carry the weight of the conservatory frames and roof.
Another important point to notice are the galvanised steel posts between the conservatory frames. These posts give strength and rigidity to the whole structure. Some cheaper, modular conservatories do not have these posts. Advantage - a cheaper conservatory. DISADVANTAGE - A WEAKER CONSERVATORY.
